HOW DO I... MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH THE DOCTORS?
We operate a dual appointment system with a combination of same-day appointments and a number of appointments per GP which can be booked up to four weeks ahead. 10 - 12 appointments are available each day for your choice of doctor. When these have been allocated there will be no choice. However any patient presenting during surgery hours will be seen by a member of the Primary Care Team. A maximum of 25 patients can be seen by each doctor per morning or evening session/clinic. Only two members of the same family can be seen by a doctor.
We are also open on Saturday 8.00am-1.00pm and Thursday 6.30- 7.30pm. The appointments for these two sessions can be booked during the week.
HOW DO I... MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH THE NURSE?
Please make
a separate appointment via reception for each member of the family needing to be seen. Telephone:
020 8586 5111
9.00am - 12 noon Monday - Friday
3.30 - 5.00pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
020 8586 5124
9.30am - 5.00pm Monday - Friday
If you are unable to keep your appointment via reception please inform the surgery as soon as possible. This will enable us to offer this appointment to another patient.
HOW DO I... OBTAIN TELEPHONE ADVICE?
We are happy to deal with brief enquiries over the telephone. If you phone at
the end of surgery (around 10.30am or 4.30pm), your doctor or nurse is more likely
to be available to speak to you.
HOW DO I... OBTAIN A HOME VISIT?
Routine home visits are available for those who are too ill or infirm to come
into the surgery or are housebound patients. If you feel you do need a home visit,
please telephone the surgery to discuss your illness.
Please bear in mind that the doctor can see three patients in the surgery in the
time it takes to make a home visit and it is for the doctors to decide whether
a home visit is necessary.
